We play rugby but we also are students at the university of Bordeaux the values here, it’s to enjoy what we are doing, to play together and never regret what we are doing this will surely be a very high-level competition since we will have to deal with teams from South Africa and New Zealand, in particular, and also some teams from England such as Oxford or Cambridge. What drives us, is the excitement of playing rugby, the pleasure to be around friends, and this adrenaline at the moment of the kickoff and when we win. We are going to try to focus our game on a lot of speed, a lot of uncertainties, a lot of movements, in order to put pressure on our opponents through movement and speed. I believe that the International experiences, in a general way, are very important for the students : it’s very nurturing, we face different cultures … And that’s even more true when it comes to sport. We have a lot of collaborations with the Japanese universities, about the promotion of training and the field of research. And seeing our rugbymen taking part in this tournament in Japan today, that means reinforcing our relationship between our universities, both French and Japanese, and also our two countries. We are approaching this competition with the intention of winning. I am convinced that there is a chance for them to win the tournament.
