The story of one woman’s crusade to change her world. From disability, to accessibility, to possibility. What we’ve seen, is that over the years people with disability have been marginalised, often invisible in society. It has to change. One dream to make New Zealand 100% accessible. The Government will fund Be. Accessible to the tune of four million dollars over four years. Be. Accessible inspire people to be the difference that they want to be. This is deep, heart felt, authentic social change. Accessibility is the movement of the 21st century. There are so many beautiful moments in the Be. story, but interspersed are some really deeply sad moments. We’ve lost people and we felt that as a group very, very deeply. I do think about them like a compass point, around what we’re doing and why we’re doing it. What greater sense of fulfilment can there be but to make a difference to the community in which you live? Why wouldn’t we want a world where everyone could reach their fullest potential and flourish and just be?
