Shop Project – Make this handy sandpaper disk organizer

Shop Project – Make this handy sandpaper disk organizer

Something tells me I need a better way to
store my sandpaper disks. I’ll make a little organizer. It’s a box. I think I can handle a box. I cut a strip from a sheet of MDF. I’m glad
this doesn’t make a lot of dust. I cut a piece for the two sides and another
for the top and bottom. I don’t have a dado stack I mark the shelves
and cut slots for them by moving a little and testing as I go. I got
too greedy and went too far with the last
one. I spit the pieces and cut the shelves. And that’s how NOT to use a flush trim bit. Even though this is a shop project, I don’t
like the way this shows my mistakes. I cover it up with a frame. I’m going fire engine red to brighten it up. And I attach a french cleat for hanging. And here’s my sandpaper organizer. It’s a
box with shelves. Anyway, you would you have built this differently.
