Ontario Police Memorial Ceremony of Remembrance | Sunday, May 6th, 2018 | 11AM | Chief Mark Saunders

The command and I would like to thank
each and every member – sworn and civilian – for all the hard work you do every day.
The value you bring to your job is noticed, appreciated, and supported by not
only the command and I, but also the communities you serve. You may not
realize it but your efforts makes this Police Service envied around the
world. What makes us strong is the support we show for each other. On May 6 2018 I
will be leading our service at the annual Ontario Police memorial at
Queen’s Park in honor of those police officers who have made the ultimate
sacrifice for the safety of their communities. We owe it to the families,
friends, and loved ones of those fallen officers to show our
respect. I will be honoured to lead what I believe to be the best Police Service in
the world as we remember our heroes in life.
