Divorced Couple Looks At Their Wedding Photos

– It’s a good reminder that things… Things were good, and will be again. They are good. (inspiring music) – I’m Sara Piergiuseppe, and
today I’m gonna be looking at my wedding pictures with my ex-husband. – This should be interesting. – We met through friends. Well, technically, we met in
a bar, but we knew people, so it feels a little less sleazy. – She had a red top on. I was smitten from go,
and she was playing it to cool for school. – It was not a match, at first. I really wasn’t interested,
but he grew on me, and he asked me out,
probably like a month later. – Our first date was on August the 9th. – The rest is history, and now we’re here. – Within, I’d say, about a year of dating, we moved in together. – And then we got engaged, it
was a year and a half later. – New Year’s Eve, at a
Black Crowes concert, after one too many drinks, I said to her, “I have no ring, I have no money–” – “‘But I love you, and I want to spend the
rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?'” – She said, “Yes.” And, we woke up the next morning,
she looked at me and said, “You still wanna do this?” I was like, “Yeah.” – And my mom got sick, she
got diagnosed with cancer, and so we knew that she
wasn’t gonna make it. So we actually did a Justice
of the Peace ceremony in December, but the wedding-wedding– I just wanted a big party. – It was wonderful, it was awesome. – So after we got
married, he switched jobs. – Now we’re working all the time, we don’t really see much of each other. I’m getting up at 4:30 in
the morning and I’m out. – I think the things that
affected the marriage is, just time away from each other between his work and me doing theater. – I was just getting
more and more frustrated. Not with her. More with just, I really
don’t like the way my life is going at this point. The marriage was good. It was just, we got to a point we weren’t a married couple anymore, we we’re just two people
living in the same house, and it needed to end. That was the end of the chapter. – He actually was the
one that brought it up. He was like, “I think we should separate.” – It was really tough, it was not easy. We basically went from
roommates who get along, to roommates who don’t get along, who don’t even want to be in
the same room with each other. – Obviously, it hurt. But looking back, it was the
right move for both of us. – I moved to New Orleans for six months. I was not in a good
place, drank way too much. She was one of the people I turned to. – I wanted to find a way
for us to be friends. I don’t have a lot of people,
and I don’t want to lose this. So I wanted to figure out
a way to remain friends. – Just kinda looking forward
to seeing these pictures of people we haven’t
seen in such a long time. – I think it might just kind of give a little bit of closure. – I’m a little bit nervous. – [Austin] How are ya? – Yeah, super fun standing
outside of the door. – Waiting for people. – Yeah, I’m so patient.
– Yes you are. – You know how patient I am. I like this. – Thanks. I think, Buffalo Exchange? Cool. – Cool. (laughing) So what lovely things
did you say about me? – You’re a terrible person. I was glad to be out of this. I don’t know why I’m doing this– – Well, I’m super happy to be here. – I’m doing this for the money. – I’m gonna go. – Hopefully this isn’t
one of those things that, in concept– (laughing) – It sounded like a good idea
but now after looking at it, we’re like– – No, I think it’ll be fine. It’ll be fine. Let’s look at pictures. – You wanna look at these? – Should we do it? – Alright. – I really seriously haven’t
looked at these in forever. Aw look, there’s your hair. – There’s my hair, yeah. – What the fuck? (laughing) (soothing music) (laughing) Honestly, there are a
lot of people here too, that we don’t– – We don’t see anymore or hear– – Don’t– Yeah. – – Or not hear anymore. You know, it’s a good
reminder that things… Things were good, and will be again. They are good. I think that there’s a
stigma attached to divorce. It’s always gotta be bad, and it doesn’t always have to be bad. You kind of can choose
depending on the scenario. Just have as much respect for yourself, and for the other person,
as humanly possible. Thank you for being here, and being you, and not just walking away. – Same. Thanks for sticking it out with me, and wanting to still be my friend, and making sure I was
okay when I got back. – Always. – Cause I wasn’t. – I know. – Could’ve easily gone
the other way, and– – Okay, I’m gonna hug you.- – Okay.
– Okay. (soothing music)

  • You can see how much she still loves him. I hope I find a woman who’ll look at me the way she looks at him.

  • Huh lets see, men works but women want independence so they work as hard, so when u have a couple that work as hard as each and have no time for them what do u think will happen? Duh they break up. Luckily they had no kids cuz those would
Of definitely been the onces screwed here from the moment that their parents decided to work cuz they want to keep up with the joses instead of tone of them stay at home to be a parent and the axle of the house.

  • Both of them have tears in their eyes. She's clearly been more attached to him than he was to her. But still, why are they almost crying? Isn't that some sort of a sign that they could've sorted it all out? No? Just me? Ok.

  • I just feel bad for the situation I have the concept of divorce in general.

  • it's really crazy to think that parents go from being happily married to never speaking to each other again, leaving their children to suffer the consequences

  • So they pay them to exploit their own lives and loss.. a la Springer..Maury, Oprah and Dr.Phil.
Once again ,buzzfeed proves to have no redeeming value.

  • Yeah they both weren't ready. They ended it because "their jobs"… my goodness they both were not ready for sure if that's the reason.

  • She's just a pretty woman. I mean what's the point of marrying someone you think you're sure of to end up breaking the marriage?

  • Woman- so what lovely things did you say about me?

Guy- you're a terrible person, I was glad to be out of this, I'm doing this for the money..

*REALLY DUDE? YOU CANT SEE SHES HURTING?*

  • This makes me never want to get married… Should never let yourself get used up for 10 years and thrown away like this…

  • Her instincts when she first met him were“no”, and she should have stuck with that intuition. Pretty wack that this dude came running to her for support, when he needed saving after dumping her.

  • Smartness is important in a relationship and cyberhackinggenius helped cloned my husband’s phone and I got access to all his dealings both on phone and social media without touching his phone. All I did was share my husband’s phone number with cyberhackinggenius and I was able to read both his new and deleted messages from my phone without having to touch his phone. My husband was a cheating Narcissist and I’m glad to find out all his secrets and infidelity with the help of cyberhackinggenius. I’m here in UK and able to access my husband’s phone messages with a link on my phone even while he was away in Canada cheating on me. I got to discover that my husband who is legally  married to me here in UK is also recently married to another woman in Canada and I’m finally going through a divorce with lots of evidence against him. I read all his Whatsapp, Facebook,Skype,Instagram and Snapchat messages Including the deleted text and recent messages. You can contact this great Hacker Gavin via Gmail  (cyberhackinggenius) or text and speak to him directly on his phone and WhatsApp : +19256795146 and don’t forget to thank me later.

  • I always find it super fascinating how one can commit their love to another and still end up falling out of love …

  • Today August 30th, I go to court for my divorce hearing. I get to watch our 8 year marriage end today. I also get to see my wife turn into my ex wife. How do I feel? Like I'm dying….I did everything possible to keep us together. Wish I could go to sleep and stay asleep.

  • I’m watching this video after my parent told me after 36 years there seeing a divorce lawyer. I may be an adult (20’s) but they are all I have and it feels like my world is crumbling down around me. All I do is drink, cry, sleep, go to work, repeat.

  • His such an evil man I can tell his manipulative I know this type of guy when he said let’s look at the wedding pics he said it be great to see people ain’t seen in a while . I think he left her cos she not as pretty as before men are dum they go for looks but even the prettiest girls partners cheat on them I seen look at celebs . His so dum and old he don’t realise. Girl if you are reading this your love for him is poetry so restart and give it to whom is worth it

  • I feel terrible for this young lady………. she took the brunt of this I believe…….. she looked beautiful on her wedding day……  he dropped the ball!!  Too bad they couldn't work through the issues they had…………  best of luck!!

  • It kinda scares me to think how life can bring to people apart. Like, your marriage has no problem at all, but everything else is so frustrating that you eventually realize you're not even in love anymore.

  • A word is enough for the wise and It is also important to apply wisdom when dealing with our partners. I got help from cyberhackinggenius as he helped cloned my cheating wife’s phone and I got access to all her phone text messages and social media chats without touching her phone. All I did was share my wife’s phone number with Cyberhackinggenius. I was able to read her recent and deleted messages from my phone without laying my hands on her phone and she has no idea her phone has been cloned. I discovered that my wife has been in a long term affair outside our marriage with so many proofs. • How can a job end a marriage? Im sorry I rarely ever see that happening. My dad used to work 10 hours a day and my mom sometimes had 14 hour shifts a day but still made it work and ended up married for 26 years still going strong. Im not saying its gonna be the same for everyone but this just seems off, sounds like he went up and he just decided to dip 😒

  • I dont get how people just end marriages wtf theres only 2 reasons why I would end a marriage
    1) Adultery or cheating
    2) Abuse (physical and emotional)

I mean u can't just break up over jobs ffs

  • My parents divorced, thank God they stayed best friends. Some kids aren't as lucky and I'm grateful to have some parents who are still best friends (I see my dad everyday :D)
    Wow that was deep.

  • I don't know if I could be friends with my husband if we were to divorce, we have a child together so no matter what, we'll always be connected. Sometimes things just don't work out and that sucks.

  • You never know People. For all we know they’re seeing one another more times than we think “wink” “wink”. Hopefully circumstances will change for the better and they get remarried again. Yes there is such thing as getting remarried.

  • I feel like divorce isn’t real. I feel like once you’re attached to someone mentally like that, you always will be. Unless the person is truly devil and does something terrible to you. If it ends okay like this I feel like you’ll always be connected emotionally. Sad.

  • I'm only 19 never been married, but why do I feel like people treat marriage as relationships these days? Give everything up at the smallest temptation. Falls out of love after some time apart. People are devaluing the true meaning of marriage, its sacred vows. It's like they get this urge to be together and in a drunken haze gets married and then has no idea what to do after that or how to maintain it. It's like after marriage they start to nitpick what's wrong with their partner to dip.

  • He looks like he is awkward doing it, but he appreciates her enough to see her and share that moment.

But her, she looks devastated, as if she was trying to get ready for that moment for weeks, her eyes just show an incredible amount of love and heartbreak, the way she says "I'm gonna hug you", as if it was the last.
